Prodigal son

Dirty, no filthy, hungry and thirsty.

Old man eye brows in tact, very smelly and in need of a massive haircut.

Our Samye returns to us unharmed and more excited to see mama than ever.

== The Quick Story ==

- The people that found him have a house close to Ashley's grandparents where he went missing
- Ashley and Mrs. Sandy Horton had spoken on two different occassions prior
- Sandy said Samye had been staying in their barn and wouldn't let anyone get close enough to him
- Finally Mr. Horton went in and snatched him up
- Sandy said, "I know who he belongs to."
- Sandy called Ashley at around 4pm Tuesday
- Ashley met me in Dallas at my office and we drove down last night to verify it was him
- We got home just after 1 am
- He had spent 10 days in the wild and was filthy, had stickers in his coat, etc.
- We gave him a bath and cleaned him up a lot, didn't get to bed until almost 3 am
- Ashley is taking him to the vet today for a quick checkup
- Thankfully he had all of his shots before he went missing
- He seems to be quite healthy for a 4 pound dog that just spent 10 days outside

== A Bite to Eat ==

Samye says, "I still like chichen!"

We stopped at Ashley's grandparents for a quick bite to eat after leaving the Horton's - we had left some of Samye's dog food there. I think we left right around 9:15 pm.

== Eye Brows ==

I can't see a thing under here!

Samye still remembered how to beg a little with those puppy dog eyes - so I gave him a little of my ham

== Car Ride Home ==

Ashley and Samye rode in the back so that Samye had more room to lay
down. He did really well coming home - not one yack!

== I'm Home!! ==

...and look, my nyla bone!

== Goodies ==

Shoes and socks to chew on and kisses for mama.

== Bath Time ==

Samye: "I hate this part."

== Oscar ==

Samye heard Oscar was acting up while he was away so it was time to straighten him out.

All in all, Samye seems to be OK. His skin is a little dark, we assume, for being out in the sun for 10 days. We had to cut out a lot of sticker burrs from his coat too which looks like they cut him in a couple of places.

Now that we have him home and have gotten him cleaned up, he has definitely remembered 'home'.
