San Jose, California

I (Ashley) am in San Jose this week at a conference for Nursing Simulation. We arrived yesterday, and I am traveling with two other ladies from work. The weather in California is very different than Texas. It was about 84 degrees when we arrived at 3:15 local time yesterday, This morning it feels like it is the 70s. The people here are friendly, although we have encountered one or two panhandlers. The city is very pedestrian friendly, and there is a light rail train very near our hotel. We are staying at the Fairmont hotel in Downtown San Jose. I'll try and post some pictures soon!
